Israel Baharav, Chairman and Co-Founder
Israel Baharav has significant and broad experience managing young, advanced technology companies. He was executive chairman of Idanit, now called Scitex Vision, and later of Objet. He was also closely involved with two other high technology startups, Healinxs and Optonics; was founder and president of BI-101, an international consulting company; and is Managing Director of STEP Inc. in Israel. Israel Baharav served in the Israel Air Force (IAF), where he attained the rank of Brigadier General. He has held top-level executive and operational roles in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), including Head of Air Force Intelligence, Head of Air Force Operational Requirements, and Head of IDF Strategic Planning. As a fighter pilot and commanding officer, he took part in and led hundreds of operational sorties, and is credited with shooting down a total of twelve MiG-21 aircraft in aerial combat, more than any other pilot in the world. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal by the President of Israel.
James Penosky, CEO
As one of the founding members of OnDemand Partners, Jim has over 20 years of management experience from startups to Fortune 100 companies. Prior to Trustware, Jim was the CEO of Onigma, an Israeli based security software company focused on the Data Leakage and Prevention space that was acquired by McAfee. Jim's responsibilities at Onigma included all aspects of the business including raising capital. Prior to Onigma, Jim was VP of Computer Associates (CA) Business Development group which had responsibility for all acquisition and divestiture activities. Additionally, Jim established CA's Internet Security business. Under his leadership, the Internet Security business grew to over $4 million in revenue and over 400,000 users in eighteen months. As Vice President of Business Operations at CA, he led a global team in the creation of CA's offshore Technology and Customer Support Centers in India, China, and Eastern Europe. Jim acted as the US liaison for CA's 20 joint ventures in Asia and served on the Board of the CA-Satyam joint venture. Jim has a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Eyal Dotan, CTO and Co-Founder
BufferZone technology was invented by Eyal Dotan. Eyal is the author of ViGUARD, one of the first Host Intrusion Prevention (HIPS) software, which sold hundreds of thousands of licenses in the private and government sectors and was the first proactive protection to have ever stopped the 'I Love You', Melissa, Klez, Blaster, and Sasser virus outspreads without using black-list signatures. He holds a number of patents in the field of computer security, and has participated in numerous security events and reviews such as Virus Bulletin, Black Hat Europe, MISC, NetFocus, and JSSI, as well as IT security training at the European Commission. He also heads the Windows security program at EPITECH - European Institute of Technology, in Paris.
