Hi

You can just download and install the product, the registration is optional after the install - Name & Email.
No need for a license key for activation

This thread indicates that Bufferzone Pro version 3.41 update is available and provides a link that simply redirects you to the main Home web page.
The download Link at the top of the home page does not direct you to BufferZone Pro version updates you can download and install yourself ( only what
changes are made in the new updated versions).
Only the Free download version appears to be available and using it to update my current purchased version changes the terms of my orginal purchase
agreement.
In othewords, if I update my current puchased version with this free version, when does the free part expire or can I use my existing keys to
validate the free update copy.
I would like to get access to the improved keylogger protection this verions provides and get improved integration with ZoneAlarm Suite for my current version 3.31
as it has not autmatically updated as of this date. So I would like to update it myself.
Any input you can provide regarding this problem would be greatly appreciated.

PS. I tried sending a message on the Support portal but the registered BufferZone account information that provided me access to this forum site is no recognized
by that link ???

I downloaded a copy of BufferZoneProFree.msi from the following link http://www.trustware.com/download-2 and then proceeded to upload the same file to http://www.virustotal.com and got the following results. Are the results normal for this file or is my download corrupt ?

Hello,

Avast 5 - Identifies TeamViewer as a Win32:WinVNCbased-F. TeamViewer is a 3rd party component installed together with BufferZone for remote support. It is safe and will probably not be included in future versions of BufferZone.
See: http://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/rep ... 1298335326

Norton 2010 -WS.Reputation.1 - http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-I ... d-p/232155
This is also ok. We are also working with Symantec to modify the community rating.

What a Surprise: http://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/rep ... 1299512124
now Viper Sees TeamViewer as 'TeamViewer (v)'

Hi team! Good work about BufferZone!
Why, often, can't I access my bookmarks from Firefox in BZ?

Hi. Only another thing:
if I lunch an X program inside BufferZone, it doesn't work if it needs some system files (tha's out of bufferzone) to be opened. You could answer me to virtualize those system files into BZ to be, in this way, availabale to be lunched by my X program; but, in that case, that virtualized system file should be available also to malicious programs that connect to me via internet.
The same thing happens when I launch an installation program from a virtualized external drive (such as USB pen or DVD): the instal fails because the program can't access system files it needs.
Therefore, I propose:
Why don't you put an option (enabled by the user) that permits (in a future version of BZ) programs launched inside bufferzone to access all system files they need (also if these files are out of BZ!) to work well? I know it's a hole for malwares, but the user will enable this option only for programs trusted, and the out-of-BZ-system-files called by the program, SHOULD be called only by THAT program, so a malicious software couldn't access them. What do you think about?
P.S.: I hope I've written all correctly, because I can't write English well.

Why don't you implement the possibility to choose blocking a port only in entry or exit in the bufferzone built-in firewall? Thank you.

I Think I've found a bug in BZ.
I have Internet Download Manager installed in my pc and I use it in virtual mode (BZ protection): I've noted I can access my real file system (C:\) from IDM also when I use it in virtual mode. So I ask you: Should not the real file system be hidden to programs running under Buffer Zone? I've tried to delete some files from IDM, and I've done it without problems. In the event log I've noted that IDM can call explorer.exe and also if this file is virtualized from BZ, it can access my real C: . Thank you
